Wales boss Gary Speed believes a change in attitude will be key to Wales's success.

Gary Speed has called for Wales to show their "horrible" side in tonight’s (Friday) Euro qualifying clash with Montenegro in Cardiff.

Wales recently slumped to 117th in the FIFA world rankings and have not won a competitive match at home in three years, but Speed believes that a change in attitude could be the key to Wales turning around their fortunes.

"If anything I want them to be more confident, more arrogant and more horrible and get that winning mentality," he said.

"Sometimes they are too nice, I seem to recall someone saying they are all perfect son-in-laws.

"They are young guys and are making their way in the game, we have a couple of characters in there and hopefully they come to the fore and drive people on."

Wales face Group G leaders Montenegro and England, both unbeaten on 11 points, in the coming days.
