Real Madrid reportedly consider a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric.

Real Madrid are understood to be considering a bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric.

The Croatian international's future at White Hart Lane is again in doubt after Spurs' Champions League hopes were ended with Chelsea's triumph over Bayern Munich on Saturday night.

Los Blancos coach Jose Mourinho now views the 26-year-old as a possible summer purchase, according to the Metro.

Chelsea were thought to have had two bids for Modric rejected by Tottenham two years ago.
