Barcelona consider move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente?

Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente, who has just six months remaining on his contract.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Barcelona.

The Catalan giants are said to be in the market for a new striker in January, and Chelsea's Alvaro Morata has been linked with a switch to Camp Nou.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, manager Ernesto Valverde is also considering an approach for Llorente, who remains second choice to Harry Kane at the Premier League side.

The 33-year-old has made just one top-flight start since moving to the North London outfit in 2017, although a further 11 outings have come from the first XI in other competitions.

Llorente only has six months remaining on his contract, but an injury to Kane in the club's game against Manchester United on Sunday may scupper any chances of Mauricio Pochettino being willing to part ways with the Spaniard.
