Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen admits that the pressure is on his team following a difficult run of form.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has admitted that the pressure is on his team following a difficult run.

Spurs are without a win in their last four league matches after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Watford.

As a result, Mauricio Pochettino's side have dropped into sixth position in the Premier League table, and Vertonghen has conceded that the capital outfit are currently under pressure.

"We have to get back to winning ways and we know that. We had a run where we had to win a couple of games and we didn't so I suppose the pressure is a little bit more, but we know we can win these games," Vertonghen told reporters.

Next up for Tottenham in the league is a home game against Stoke City next weekend.
