Brahim Diaz could attempt to leave Real Madrid due to his struggles for opportunities since returning to the club, according to a report.

Brahim Diaz is reportedly seriously considering his future at Real Madrid due to his struggles for opportunities since returning to the club over the summer.

The Spanish outfit's attacking departures at the end of last season led to Brahim being recalled from a loan spell at AC Milan, where he made 124 appearances in all competitions.

Brahim was a regular for the Italian giants during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 45 occasions in all competitions, but he has struggled to break into the Real Madrid side this term.

The 24-year-old has only started once for Carlo Ancelotti's side this season, with his other eight appearances coming off the bench.

Brahim only played the final two minutes of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Sevilla, while he was an unused substitute against Braga in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

According to Fichajes, the Spaniard is 'fed up' with his situation at Bernabeu and is already thinking about pushing for an exit near year.

The report claims that Ancelotti 'does not trust' the attacker, and the relationship between the two individuals has now become strained.

Ancelotti could leave his position next summer when his contract expires, but Brahim is thought to be open to considering an exit during the January transfer window.

The one-time Spain international started his youth career at Malaga before moving to Manchester City, and he then represented the English club's first team on 15 occasions before moving to Real Madrid.

Brahim has scored three goals and registered three assists in 30 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions.

Los Blancos were 2-1 winners over Braga in the Champions League on Tuesday, meaning that they have now picked up nine points from an available nine in their section.

Real Madrid will now travel to Barcelona in La Liga this weekend for El Clasico, bidding to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight following their 1-1 draw with Sevilla.

"After this game, we are clear about what we must do: the maximum to win. We have time to prepare it," Ancelotti told reporters on Tuesday night when asked about the contest between the two biggest clubs in Spain.

Los Blancos are top of the La Liga table, one point clear of third-placed Barcelona, who will be in Champions League action against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
