Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil has praised the influence that manager Jose Mourinho has had on his game.
The Germany international joined Los Blancos in 2010 from Werder Bremen and has gone on to feature regularly under the guidance of Mourinho.
"He has had a huge impact on me," Ozil told AS. "I want to thank him for putting his faith in me. That has really helped me develop as a player.
"I am very happy to train under him and continue to develop."
The 23-year-old has made 14 La Liga appearances this season but has yet to find the net.
