Sami Khedira returns to Real Madrid squad

Sami Khedira returns to the Real Madrid squad for tomorrow's La Liga clash with Valencia at the Bernabeu.

Sami Khedira has returned to the Real Madrid squad for tomorrow's La Liga clash with Valencia.

The German international has not featured for Los Blancos since suffering a serious knee injury while on international duty last November.

The midfielder underwent surgery before Christmas to mend the issue, but he has now been deemed fit enough to return to first-team action for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Luka Modric, however, has been left out of the squad due to a slight niggle.

Full squad: Casillas, Lopez, Jesus; Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Marcelo, Carvajal, Nacho; Alonso, Casemiro, Di Maria, Khedira, Isco, Illarramendi; Ronaldo, Benzema, Morata, Bale
