Paco Jemez delighted with Rayo Vallecano

Paco Jemez praises his Rayo Vallecano side following Monday's 3-2 win over Real Sociedad.

Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez has revealed his delight following Monday's 3-2 win over Real Sociedad.

The victory at the San Sebastian moved the capital outfit to within one point of safety and just three points from 13th-placed Malaga in the La Liga table.

"Today, again, we showed we're not afraid of anything," he told reporters at a press conference.

"I think, at the end of the season, we'll look back and realise that this game has given us life in the battle to avoid relegation."

Rayo welcome Almeria to the Spanish capital this weekend.
