Laurent Blanc: We played "beautiful" football

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc claims that his side played "beautiful" football against Bordeaux.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc described his side's performance as "beautiful" after they beat Bordeaux 3-1 in the Coupe de Ligue on Tuesday night.

Late goals from Blaise Matuidi and Adrien Rabiot saw PSG through after Andre Biyogo Poko had cancelled out Javier Pastore's opener.

"It was a game played like every cup match. We showed beautiful control in the first period despite a difficult pitch," Blanc told the official club website.

"I think we created a lot of opportunities in the game. We were rewarded at the end and that's a good thing.

"In cups, the main thing is to qualify. This match is now done. It is also a good thing to have avoided extra time."

The win took Blanc's side into the semi-finals.
