Steve Cotterill is happy after his second consecutive win in charge of Nottingham Forest against Blackpool.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has expressed his delight after his second win in two games.

A 2-1 victory away at Blackpool has continued Cotterill's winning start to his time in the East Midlands since he took over last week.

"I'm happy now that it's over," he said. "It's been a tough couple of opening games with Middlesbrough at home and Blackpool away.

"We've given ourselves a bit of breathing space but it's been a tough start, that's for sure - especially when there are three games in a week.

"I might be biased but we've done very well today to get a very good win."

The result has lifted Forest up into 19th place in the Championship table.
