Steve Cotterill's winning start at Nottingham Forest continues as they edge past Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Steve Cotterill's winning start to his reign at Nottingham Forest continued as his side edged past Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Forest took the lead in the 39th when Wes Morgan headed in a Lewis McGugan corner before Kevin Phillips equalised for the Seasiders.

The veteran striker was allowed to turn on the edge of the area before curling a shot past Lee Camp's dive to send the sides in level at the break.

Radoslaw Majewski restored the visitors' lead 15 minutes from time, firing low past Matt Gilks.

Guy Moussi saw red for a second bookable offence to give Blackpool hope but they were unable to grab an equaliser.

Forest continue their climb up the table to 18th, while Blackpool's second home loss of the season sees them drop to 10th.
