CONCACAF chief Enrique Sanz banned from all football activity

Enrique Sanz, the general secretary of CONCACAF, is the latest to be banned from all football activity in the wake of ongoing corruption allegations.

CONCACAF general secretary Enrique Sanz has been added to the list of individuals banned from football activity in light of recent allegations of wrongdoing deep within FIFA.

Seven high-profile figures were arrested during dawn raids in Zurich last week, just two days before Sepp Blatter was re-elected as president for a fifth term.

The governing body's ethics committee has now provisionally banned Sanz from carrying out any football-related activities at national and international level, as their investigation into the scandal continues to develop.

Calls have been made this week for UEFA to break away from the under-fire organisation in the wake of the ongoing corruption allegations.
