Defender DeAndre Yedlin has called on Newcastle United to stay "positive" after the North-East giants extended their losing streak in the Premier League to four matches.
On Saturday afternoon, Watford ran out 3-0 winners at St James' Park to leave the Magpies in 14th place and just four points clear of the relegation zone.
However, ahead of an increasingly-important clash with West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night, Yedlin has said that the club must "stick together" in order to improve their form on the pitch.
The 24-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "We have to stay together, not just as a team but as a club, the fans as well. That's what this whole club is built on. We have to make sure we stick together during this rough patch and come through it.
"We are just trying to stay positive. It's very hard to after a performance like that, but it's what you have to do. We are going to have drops like this, so you have to try to stay positive and bounce back.
"We have a game on Tuesday, so in that sense we can try to move on quickly."
Yedlin has made nine starts for Newcastle in the top flight this season.
