Jake Speight returns to Mansfield Town starting XI

Mansfield Town recall striker Jake Speight to their starting XI for this afternoon's home clash with Oxford United in League Two.

Mansfield Town have recalled striker Jake Speight to the starting XI for this afternoon's home clash with Oxford United in League Two.

Speight was recalled from a loan spell at Alfreton earlier this week, after scoring four goals in five appearances for the Conference club. He replaces Ollie Palmer, who is sidelined with a hamstring problem.

John Dempster is back following a three-match suspension and replaces George Pilkington, while Lee Beevers returns in place of John McCombe.

Meanwhile, Oxford welcome Ryan Williams and Andrew Whing back into their starting lineup following last weekend's 2-2 draw at Gateshead.

Mansfield: Marriott, Beevers, Sutton, Dempster, Jennings, Daniel, Howell, McGuire, Stevenson, Clucas, Speight
Subs: Deakin, Pilkington, McCombe, Murtagh, Meikle, Andrew, Rhead

Oxford: Clarke, Hunt, Raynes, Mullins, Newey, Williams, Whing, Rose, Rigg, Kitson, Smalley
Subs: Constable, Hall, Davies, Crocombe, Bevans, O'Dowda, Ruffels
