Manchester United are preparing to offer striker James Wilson a new deal worth £20,000 per week to remain at Old Trafford, according to reports.

Manchester United are preparing to offer striker James Wilson a new deal to remain at Old Trafford, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has been in good form for the Red Devils this season, and against Southampton he was the only striker listed on the bench, with Radamel Falcao left out completely.

The Daily Star reports that Wilson has been offered a new contract worth £20,000 a week, around a 10th of what Falcao is said to be earning.

Wilson's contract expires at the end of the season.
