Report: Raphael Varane wants Manchester United move

French international Raphael Varane wants to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United, according to reports.

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has set his sights on a move to Manchester United, according to reports.

The 21-year-old is thought to be held in high regard by current Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, but has found himself behind Pepe and Sergio Ramos in the Real pecking order.

The youngster's desire for first-team football has alerted Louis van Gaal, who is willing to offer up to £30m for the French international's signature, claims The Express.

Varane, who has 17 caps for France, has made over 50 appearances for Real Madrid since making his debut in 2011.
