Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is reported to be considering a move to Arsenal.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is reportedly interested in a transfer to Arsenal if his wage demands can be met.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champions in recent weeks after it was revealed that he had put in a transfer request.

The England international could now be tempted with a switch to the Emirates Stadium before the start of the new season, according to Goal.com.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted on Monday that it would be difficult to turn down the possible arrival of Rooney.
