Real Madrid may reportedly look to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen rather than bring in Manchester United's Paul Pogba for a higher price.

Real Madrid are reportedly comtemplating prioritising the signing of Christian Eriksen over Paul Pogba.

Zinedine Zidane will be provided with the funds to transform his first-team squad this summer, and the head coach is known to be an admirer of Manchester United's Pogba.

However, according to El Confidencial, the Spanish giants may instead make more effort to secure a deal for Tottenham Hotspur's Eriksen.

The report suggests that club president Florentino Perez is wary about spending over the odds on Pogba given the France international's recent performances for United.

Real - in theory - also have more chance of signing Eriksen, with the Denmark international having just over a year remaining on his deal in North London.
