Sports Mole looks at Manchester United's final six matches of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign.

Manchester United pulled themselves back into contention for a top-four spot in the Premier League this season courtesy of their 3-2 win over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored three times in the narrow success at Old Trafford, and the victory, coupled with some poor results from the teams around them, has put the Red Devils back in the argument for a top-four position, which has seemed so unlikely in recent weeks.

Ahead of Tuesday's clash with Liverpool, Ralf Rangnick's side are fifth in the table, three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur on the same number of games (32).

Arsenal in fifth, meanwhile, are level on points with Man United with a match in hand, while West Ham United are two points behind the 20-time English champions, having played a game more.

The Red Devils now have two gigantic back-to-back away matches against title hopefuls Liverpool and top-four rivals Arsenal, and their results in the two fixtures will go a long way to deciding their fate.

Rangnick's team will then welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford on April 28 before opening May with a home match against Brentford, which comes five days before a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Man United will then finish their 2021-22 campaign away to Crystal Palace on May 22, which could prove to be a decisive match in the race for a top-four spot.

The fact that the Red Devils will play four times away and just twice at home could play a part, but they are likely to have a better idea of what they can achieve come the end of the month, as positive results in their next three would put them in a brilliant spot to secure a Champions League position for next term.

Man United's remaining six Premier League matches:

April 19 - Liverpool (A)
April 23 - Arsenal (A)
April 28 - Chelsea (H)
May 2 - Brentford (H)
May 7 - Brighton (A)
May 22 - Crystal Palace (A)
