Dominic Solanke: 'Jurgen Klopp one of best managers in world'

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke describes Jurgen Klopp as "one of the best managers in the world" and values the Reds manager's feedback.

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has described Jurgen Klopp as "one of the best managers in the world".

The 20-year-old moved to Anfield following the expiry of his Chelsea contract in the summer and has made 11 Premier League appearances for the Reds so far this season.

Solanke insists that he values feedback from the former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz manager as he adapts to being a fully-fledged first-team player in the English top flight.

"He's one of the best managers in the world and he's worked with some of the best players in the world as well," Solanke told Sky Sports News.

"When he gives positive feedback, it's warming for me. I definitely need that. With me playing my first proper season in the Premier League I know there is a lot to learn.

"When you achieve something, you always want to do more. When you're not achieving as much as you think you can, it is always something you want to [change] as soon as possible.

"I've just got to try and stay patient and then at the right time it will happen."

Solanke has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, racking up a total of 359 minutes of football.
