Daniele Rugani signs new Juventus deal

Young defender Daniele Rugani signs a new contract with Italian champions Juventus until the summer of 2019.

Juventus have announced that Daniele Rugani has signed a new contract.

Having previously been co-owned by Empoli and Juve, the defender's rights were bought out by the champions last year.

The 21-year-old has made just two Serie A starts this season, yet he has still committed himself to the Turin-based outfit until 2019.

It is believed that Napoli recently expressed an interest in signing Rugani, but he rejected their proposal.
