Newcastle United's Hatem Ben Arfa completes Hull City loan switch

Newcastle United forward Hatem Ben Arfa joins Hull City on loan until the end of the season.

Hull City have completed the loan signing of Newcastle United forward Hatem Ben Arfa.

The Tigers required an extension to complete the swoop on transfer deadline day, wrapping up the deal shortly before 1am.

Hull announced the capture on its official website, confirming that Ben Arfa will remain at the club until the end of the current Premier League season.

"Hatem is a superb addition to the squad, and brings a lot of attacking flare," said manager Steve Bruce. "We look forward to welcoming him to the club."

Ben Arfa made more than 100 appearances for Newcastle during his three seasons in the North-East.
