England defender Kyle Walker has admitted that he is "heartbroken" by England's World Cup semi-final exit at the hands of Croatia.
The Three Lions took the lead after just five minutes through Kieran Trippier at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, but a second-half equaliser from Ivan Perisic took the game to extra time before Mario Mandzukic won it for Croatia.
The result denied England a first World Cup final since 1966, but Gareth Southgate's side exceeded expectations in Russia and Walker called for the country to maintain the unity they have shown in their support of the team.
We might live in a time where sometimes it's easier to be negative than positive, or to divide than to unite, but England: let's keep this unity alive. I love you.
