Neil Warnock denies reports he's moving up to Crystal Palace boardroom

Neil Warnock rejects reports stating that he will leave his role as Crystal Palace manager to take up a position in the boardroom.

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has denied reports that he is planning to leave his role in order to take up a position in the boardroom.

It has been claimed this week that the Eagles will give Warnock a different role once they find the right coach to replace him, despite the 65-year-old having only been in charge for five games since his return.

However, Warnock has rejected the rumour by claiming that he's not prepared to give up coaching for a boardroom position just yet.

"I'm not ready," Warnock told talkSPORT. "I'm afraid I'm not into that at the minute, I am just concentrating on managing. You are going to get things like that in the paper."

Warnock, who previously spent three years as Palace boss, returned to Selhurst Park in the early stages of the season following the departure of Tony Pulis.
