Doncaster Rovers to visit Weston-Super-Mare in FA Cup first round

League One club Doncaster Rovers are drawn away to Conference South outfit Weston-Super-Mare in the first round of the FA Cup.

League One Doncaster Rovers have been drawn away to Conference South outfit Weston-Super-Mare in the first round of the FA Cup.

Former winners Portsmouth welcome fifth-tier Aldershot Town, while League One Chesterfield will travel to either Conference Premier side Braintree or Southern League Premier Division team Weymouth.

Coventry City, who won the tournament in 1987, welcome Conference North side Worcester City, while Gosport Borough will play host to League One side Colchester United.

Warrington Town, the lowest-ranked team in the competition, will host League Two outfit Exeter City.

Managed by Peter Reid's brother Shaun, the Northern Premier League Division One, level eight on the football pyramid, have qualified for the competition for the first time in their history.

The first-round ties of the FA Cup will be played on the weekend of November 7-10 in just under two weeks.
