Oscar reveals that he is hoping to convince Neymar to join him at Chelsea.

Chelsea's new signing Oscar has revealed that he is hoping that Neymar will join him at Stamford Bridge when he leaves Santos.

The attacking pair are currently on Olympic duty for their country, where they have both shown some impressive link-up play.

Neymar has been consistently linked with a move to Europe, though it seems Barcelona and Real Madrid are favourites to land the youngster's signature. However, Oscar is hoping to change that by convincing Neymar to join him at the European champions.

"While we are in London, I have been telling Neymar about the ambition of Chelsea," Oscar told The People.

"When the time comes for him to join a European club, I hope I can persuade him."

Oscar joined Roberto Di Matteo's side for £25 million before the Olympic tournament.
