Jose Mourinho: Fernando Torres "ready" to play

Jose Mourinho admits that Fernando Torres is available for selection and that he could pick any of his strikers against Cardiff.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he could look to Fernando Torres for Saturday's clash with Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho said that having Torres available creates a selection dilemma, but this is a good thing for him.

"Fernando Torres is ready if selected," BBC Sport quotes Mourinho as saying. "He has shown good dedication and good work in this period.

"We have now the three available, I want to have problems with players to choose from. Fernando, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba all three are ready and I think we need that."

Chelsea are currently third in the Premier League after seven games.
