Jose Mourinho calls Luis Suarez 'king of the penalties'?

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho claims that Luis Suarez is the 'king of the penalties', according to a report.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has aimed an apparent jibe at Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

The 27-year-old Uruguay international has earned a reputation of going down too easily under challenges from opposition defenders and goalkeepers inside the penalty area.

Speaking after his side's 4-0 home win against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday, during which Samuel Eto'o controversially earned a spot kick for the Blues, Mourinho reportedly referred to Suarez as being the 'king of penalties'.

"We had a big opportunity in the second minute of the game, when other players with other shirts would go for a penalty and a red card for the keeper," The Mirror quotes the 51-year-old as saying.

"[Eden] Hazard doesn't do that. He tries to go away from the keeper and he misses from a difficult angle. But other players in this league, in that situation, they attack the keeper.

"I did not see a video of Eto'o and the penalty but I want to. But you know the kings of the penalties, you know where they are – and they're not here."

Chelsea are currently seven points clear at the top of the league table.
