Team News: Ben Marshall starts for Blackburn Rovers after passing fitness test

Blackburn Rovers make three changes for their clash with Brighton & Hove Albion, but Ben Marshall is fit enough to start.

Blackburn Rovers winger Ben Marshall has passed a fitness test and starts in this afternoon's home clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The former Stoke City player suffered a leg injury against Brentford in midweek and was considered a doubt to play at Ewood Park this afternoon.

Rovers make three changes to their side as Marcus Olsson, Jay Spearing and Chris Brown earn recalls.

Corey Evans misses out through injury, while Tommy Spurr and Rudy Gestede drop out.

Brighton have made four changes to their side after they drew 0-0 at Milwall on Tuesday, as Rohan Ince, Emmanuel Ledesmma, Chris O'Grady and Joao Carlos Teixeria start.

Blackburn Rovers: Steele, Henley, Baptiste, Kilgallon, Olsson, Taylor, Spearing, Cairney, Marshall, Brown, Rhodes.
Subs: Eastwood, Spurr, Williamson, Songo'o, Lenihan, Mahoney, Gestede.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Stockdale, Bruno, Halford, Greer, Bennett; Ince, Kayal, Stephens; Ledesma, O'Grady, Teixeira.
Subs: Walton (GK), Calderon, Hughes, Holla, Forster-Caskey, LuaLua, Mackail-Smith.
