Marinus Dijkhuizen: 'Brentford struggled to finish"

Marinus Dijkhuizen admits that Brentford struggled in front of goal during their 1-0 Championship defeat to Burnley.

Marinus Dijkhuizen believes that Brentford's strikers let them down during their 1-0 defeat to Burnley.

Michael Keane headed in from a corner to condemn the Bees to their first league defeat of the season.

"In the first half we were by far the better side, especially in the first 25 minutes," Dijkhuizen told reporters.

"It was good organisation, high pressure, and good on the ball. We created good chances. It's just the finishing.

"The second half we put a lot of energy but created hardly anything."

Brentford sold striker Andre Gray to Burnley on Friday.
