Blackburn Rovers played out a 2-2 draw with Accrington Stanley in their pre-season meeting on Wednesday evening.
The home side took an unexpected lead on 20 minutes when Piero Mingoia fired home into the bottom corner.
However, Rovers restored parity on the stroke of half time when David Dunn scored for the Championship side when he was presented with a tap-in thanks to a goalkeeping error.
Ten minutes after the restart Accrington took the lead once more through James Gray before Tom Cairney equalised just after the hour mark after more calamitous defending left him with an open goal.
