Bayern Munich have reportedly reignited their interest in Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
The Bundesliga giants came close to signing the Portugal international during last summer's transfer window, only for the proposed switch to Allianz Arena to fall through at the final moment.
Palhinha was again a vital player for Fulham during the 2023-24 campaign, making 39 appearances in all competitions, and he is now with the Portugal squad preparing for Euro 2024.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have reignited their interest, with the Munich giants confident of securing his signature this summer.
Plettenberg claims that a verbal agreement is already in place in terms of personal terms, with a contract on the table until June 2028, while Fulham are expected to accept an offer of between €40m (£34m) and €45m (£38m).

Meanwhile, according to the Irish Independent, Everton are considering moving for Lyon defender Jake O'Brien during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old came through the youth system at Cork City before moving to Crystal Palace in 2021, but he failed to make a first-team appearance for the Eagles before a switch to Lyon in August 2023.
O'Brien featured on 32 occasions for his French club last season, scoring five times in the process, and a number of clubs are believed to be interested in his signature.
Everton are said to be weighing up a switch for the defender, but Borussia Dortmund are also keen to explore a deal this summer.
AC Milan are another club said to be keeping an eye on the situation, with Lyon facing a huge battle when it comes to keeping hold of the centre-back.

Elsewhere, Norwich City are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth attacker Emiliano Marcondes on a free transfer at the end of the month.
The 29-year-old's contract with the Cherries is due to expire on June 30, and he is set to leave the Vitality Stadium in search of pastures new.
According to Football Insider, Norwich are keen to sign Marcondes, but the Canaries will face competition from a number of other Championship clubs.
The Dane spent the second half of last season on loan at Hibernian, scoring three goals in 17 appearances for the Scottish outfit.
Meanwhile, he has represented Bournemouth on 24 occasions since arriving from Brentford in 2021, scoring seven times and registering one assist in the process.
There is also believed to be significant Danish interest in Marcondes this summer.
