Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: 'Arjen Robben will stay at Bayern Munich'

Bayern Munich chief executive officer Karl-Heinz Rummenigge claims that Arjen Robben will soon sign a new contract with the club.

Bayern Munich chief executive officer Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that Arjen Robben will sign a new contract with the club.

The 28-year-old is out of contract in 2013, and it had been reported that the Dutchman was unwilling to extend his stay with the club. However, Rummenigge has dismissed the rumours.

"I guarantee that no stars will leave. The agreement with Robben is as good as signed. Arjen will stay at Bayern in the long-term," he told Bild.

Robben will be part of the Bayern team that will contest the Champions League final with Chelsea on May 19.
