Ivan Rakitic: 'We deserved victory in Champions League final'

Barcelona playmaker Ivan Rakitic says that his side deserved their 3-1 Champions League final victory over Juventus in Berlin.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has insisted that his side deserved their Champions League final win over Juventus in Berlin.

The Croatian playmaker was on the scoresheet alongside Luis Suarez and Neymar, as Barca triumphed 3-1 to claim a treble during Luis Enrique's first season in charge as manager.

"It's a final, it's normal that we had to suffer," said Rakitic after the game, according to UEFA's official website. "They got into the game as it went on. We deserved the win."

The victory sees Barca earn their fifth Champions League crown.
