Mario Suarez: 'Atletico Madrid can beat anyone'

Mario Suarez thinks that Atletico Madrid can continue their good form and is confident his side can beat anyone.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez is confident that his side can beat anyone in the world.

Atletico are currently level with Barcelona at the top of La Liga and are unbeaten this season.

The 25-year-old has been a mainstay in the team so far, and he believes that they can continue their impressive start.

"We have the best squad we've had for the last three years," Suarez told AS. "We know that if we do things right, in one game, we can beat anyone.

"Now we go on to the pitch with great respect, but without worrying too much [about the opposition]. We know that if we play well we have a good chance of success."

The Spanish side beat Chelsea 4-1 in the European Super Cup earlier in the season to enhance their reputation, and have been boosted by the goals of Colombian forward Radamel Falcao.

Atletico's next match is against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
