Carlos Vela hopes to return to Arsenal

Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela admits that he would like to return to Arsenal this summer.

Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela has admitted that he is hoping to return to Arsenal this summer.

The Mexican striker left the Gunners in 2011 after a string of loan spells during his time in London, although the La Real forward has revealed that he is keen on making a comeback this summer.

InsideSpanishFootball.com quotes him as saying: "If I have to return, I will do things in a different way. What happened in the past will not be repeated.

"We will try and reach an agreement in which we all win – Real, Arsenal and me. We must see what can be done. We will decide what will be my future; it is all about finding the best way to be happy."

Vela reportedly has a buy-back clause in his contract.
