Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Liverpool at the Emirates.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has no fresh injury concerns to work around for Wednesday's Premier League meeting with Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners welcomed Emile Smith Rowe back from COVID-19 against Leicester City, but Takehiro Tomiyasu is still struggling with his calf problem.

With the Japanese right-back seemingly set to be the Gunners' only absentee for the contest, Cedric Soares should continue to deputise in an unchanged back four for the home side.

Thomas Partey broke the deadlock against the Foxes and was a dominant force in the engine room throughout the 2-0 win, and he is primed to join Granit Xhaka once again.

Bukayo Saka was in the wars on Sunday but should be fit enough to take his place on the right, as Sunday's man of the match Martin Odegaard continues in the hole.

Smith Rowe's return to fitness means that Gabriel Martinelli's spot on the left is far from safe, but the Brazilian - who earned high praise from Jurgen Klopp earlier this year - could hold his place as Smith Rowe builds up his game time.

Alexandre Lacazette ended his six-game run without a Premier League goal from the spot against Leicester and should fend off competition from Nicolas Pepe and Eddie Nketiah to act as the focal point again.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette
