Arsene Wenger: Arsenal defence "a bit soft" in Stoke City defeat

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits that his side's defence was "a bit soft" during their 3-2 defeat to Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.

Arsene Wenger has described Arsenal's defence as "a bit soft" during their Premier League defeat to Stoke City on Saturday.

The Gunners were 3-0 down by half time at the Britannia Stadium, and finished with a 3-2 defeat after Calum Chambers was sent off in the second half.

Wenger told reporters: "I think we were a bit inexperienced at the back. We couldn't play Laurent Koscielny or Nacho Monreal and we were maybe a bit soft to cope with what they offered."

The result leaves Arsenal sixth in the table, 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.
