Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits that his side sometimes 'lost focus' during their 3-2 victory over Swansea City.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that his side 'lost focus' during their 3-2 victory over Swansea City at the Emirates this afternoon.

The triumph helped send the Gunners level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, but it could have been a different story as the Swans came close to snatching an equaliser in the dying moments.

"I have some mixed feelings because it looked at some points comfortable and then it never was," Wenger told reporters after the game. "We could never capitalise on the two-goal cushion but at least we got the three points.

"I would say when we went two goals ahead, we lost our focus, and when you are playing a team who are down the bottom and trying to stay in the Premier League, you can't do that.

"We finished with good solidarity and we made it over the line. We have the same number of points as Manchester City so if you look at their game today, it's interesting but you have to be intelligent enough to see it over a longer distance."

Arsenal, who are now unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions, next face Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday before welcoming Middlesbrough to the Emirates next weekend.
