Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain backs young Gunners to impress against Galatasaray

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain tells Arsenal's young guns to seize the moment and impress manager Arsene Wenger in the trip to Galatasaray.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has told Arsenal's young guns to make the most of their opportunity in tonight's Champions League clash away to Galatasaray.

The Gunners, who have already qualified for the last 16, have travelled to Turkey with plenty of youth in their matchday squad.

The likes of Chuba Akpom, Alex Iwobi, Glen Kamara, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Stefan O'Connor and Gedion Zelalem have made the trip to Istanbul.

"All young players have to start somewhere and you have to be challenged at some point, so if they have the opportunity to play they have a chance to prove they are capable," Oxlade-Chamberlain, 21, told the club's official website.

"From what I have seen, they have all got good quality, they are all good lads and I am sure they will be up for the challenge and trying to prove to the boss they are good players."

Arsene Wenger's side could yet win Group D if they beat the Turkish giants and Anderlecht achieve an unlikely win away to Borussia Dortmund.
