Milos Raonic eases beyond Matthew Ebden

World number nine Milos Raonic sees off Matthew Ebden to reach the second round of Wimbledon.

Canada's Milos Raonic booked his place in the second round of Wimbledon this afternoon courtesy of a 6-2 6-4 6-4 victory over Matthew Ebden.

Raonic took the control of the contest early on thanks to two breaks of his Australian opponent's serve in the opening set.

Then, in the two sets that followed, one break of the Ebden serve in each of them was enough for world number nine Raonic to move into round two.

If the Canadian wins his next match, he will have gone further at SW19 than ever before in his career.
