Milos Raonic: 'Players do not fear top seeds'

Milos Raonic believes that the younger players no longer fear playing against tennis's top seeds.

Wimbledon semi-finalist Milos Raonic has insisted that the players on the tour no longer fear the top seeds, with Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal both being eliminated early this year.

Raonic said that he and the likes of Grigor Dimitrov and Nick Kyrgios now step onto the court confident that they will beat the big players, which is a big change from a few years ago.

"I think you see it more in people's play and people's attitude when they step out on court," the Canadian told Sky Sports News. "It's a big difference to where probably a lot of guys were maybe a year ago.

"It's an even bigger difference to where guys were two, three, four, five years ago, where there was a very tight stranglehold on who was winning those big tournaments."

Raonic takes on Roger Federer in the semi-finals on Friday.
