Nick Kyrgios: 'Beating Rafael Nadal took it out of me'

Nick Kyrgios admits that he was lacking in fitness during his defeat to Milos Raonic.

Nick Kyrgios has admitted that his fitness was lacking during his 6-7(4) 6-2 6-4 7-6(4) defeat to Milos Raonic in the Wimbledon quarter-finals.

The Australian teenager said that his shock win over Rafael Nadal in the previous round took a physical toll and left him with "nothing left to give".

The Mirror quotes him as saying: "I was struggling physically about halfway through the second set. I have nothing left to give. Beating Rafa took a lot out of me but I will work on my fitness and conditioning."

Raonic will take on Roger Federer in the last four of the competition.
