British tennis player Laura Robson has revealed her ambition to be a seeded player for the US Open this year.
The 18-year-old is currently ranked 50th in the WTA rankings.
"Last winter, I was on crutches until Christmas Eve and had two weeks to prepare for the Australian Open," she told the London Evening Standard.
"It was not ideal at all - I started off by playing just 25 minutes a day so it made for a tough start to the year.
"I haven't set many goals for myself at the moment. I'd like to be seeded in a grand slam by the end of the year."
Robson lost to Sloane Stephens in the first round of the Hobart International on Sunday.
