Andy Murray makes light work of Marcel Granollers

Andy Murray beats Marcel Granollers in straight sets to book his place in the quarter-finals of the Madrid Open.

Andy Murray has cruised into the quarter-finals of the Madrid Open by recording a 6-2 6-0 victory over Marcel Granollers.

The Scot broke his opponent twice on the way to taking the first set in just over 30 minutes.

He then went on to break Granollers three times in the second set to put the seal on a comfortable victory.

Murray will now face either Milos Raonic or Leonardo Mayer in the last eight of the tournament.
