Amelie Mauresmo has claimed that she has "plenty to offer" Andy Murray following her appointment as the Brit's new coach.
The former women's world number one, who won two Grand Slam titles before retiring in 2009, will join forces with Murray "initially for the grass-court season".
"I'm really excited to be able to work with Andy," Mauresmo said in an official statement. "He's an amazingly talented tennis player and I feel I have plenty to offer both him and the team around him. I'm looking forward to getting down to work and helping him win more Grand Slams."
Murray returns to action next week when he will defend his Aegon Championships title at Queen's Club.
