World number one Novak Djokovic is expecting a tough match when he faces Alexandr Dolgopolov at the Monte Carlo Masters.

Novak Djokovic has described his next opponent at the Monte Carlo Masters as "dangerous".

The world number one will take on Alexandr Dolgopolov tomorrow afternoon for the right to progress through to round four of the competition.

Looking ahead to the match, Djokovic has admitted that he is expecting a tough time against the Ukrainian.

"He's a very talented player," said the Serbian. "[He] comes up with some shots that are not really typical for a tennis player.

"He comes up with some drop shots and changes the pace very much. That's why he's very dangerous on clay."

Dolgopolov reached round three by defeating Bernard Tomic earlier today, while Djokovic saw off a challenge from Andreas Seppi.
