Tomas Berdych has survived a scare in round two of the French Open by beating world number 101 Aleksandr Nedovyesov in four sets.
The sixth seed dropped the opening set 4-7 in a tie-break, but he recovered in the second by clinching it 6-4 to level the contest.
There was little to separate the players during a cagey third set before Berdych broke late on to see it out 6-4.
Nedovyesov raced into a 3-0 lead early in the fourth as he tried to get himself back into the match, only for Berdych to stage a rousing fightback to win 4-7 6-4 6-4 6-3.
The former Wimbledon finalist will now meet Spanish 27th seed Roberto Bautista Agut in the next round.
