Heather Watson reveals that she hopes to make her return from illness in time for the French Open.

Heather Watson has revealed that she hopes to make her return from illness in time for next month's French Open.

The British number two was recently ruled out of action after being diagnosed with glandular fever.

"I've really missed tennis and can't wait to get back," the 20-year-old told BBC Sport.

"I can't put a specific date on when I'll return but I hope I'll be playing at the French Open."

The second Grand Slam of the year starts in Paris on May 26.
