Andy Murray not fazed by heckling from French crowd

Andy Murray insists that he will "enjoy" the hostile atmosphere on Court Suzanne Lenglen when he faces local favourite Jeremy Chardy in the French Open.

Andy Murray has told the French crowd that he will not be put off by a hostile reception when he plays home favourite Jeremy Chardy in the fourth round of the French Open tomorrow.

The former Wimbledon champion has faced heckling and boos from crowds at Roland Garros before, but is adamant that he will not be affected on Court Suzanne Lenglen.

He told reporters: "I think it's something that when I was younger it would have affected me. But now I feel like I'm experienced and, having won eleven in a row, it's not something that fazes me.

"Obviously I prefer it when the crowd is behind you but it's something that you have to enjoy."

The winner of the match will face either David Ferrer or Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals.
